If only our mind is like a computer. I believe our life would be so much better. Really. Let's see.

If only our mind is like a computer, where it's all about hardware and software, we could program it with whatever information. You name it. If you likes to cook, with a click of a button, you will be able to learn thousands of recipes. If you love to dance, with a click of a button, you will be able to learn all types of dance moves. If you think that you could sing very well, with a click of a button, you could do nothing. Heeee... Because it all depends on your vocal. Unless, you change your vocal cord, of course. So, with this advantage, with a click of a button, everything is possible. Who need a class, when you could learn in seconds.


If only our mind is like a computer, where every piece of memory is there, we could access our mind to our specification. For example, if you meet someone, you could save their names and faces into your mind. So that, if you meet them next time, you won't forget. This is always happens to me, I could remember their faces, but couldn't remember their names. I've heard the name, but couldn't remember their faces. Another example. Sometimes, you tries so hard to get rid of a bad memory. You know, the one that you have to live with it for the rest of your lives. You regret that you made a mistake that you can't change. You can't sleep, when nightmares always haunts you once you get your eyes close. Well, if you can access that part of memory and delete it, you could have a better life in the future, without ever looking back. With this method, the prisoners could be a better person, when they get out of the prison. Just delete the memories that relates to their bad behavior, voila, they could be a good guy.

However, in life, there is no such thing as perfect. If it falls to the wrong hand, with a bad motive, it could be use for a negative purpose. Let's see. If everyone could be program to use all types of weapons, the world will be in chaos. Wars commences here and there. There will be no peace and harmony. If everyone is too intelligent, by learning all types of information, for sure, the world will be much better place to live in, but too much is not good either. People will never learn the hardships in developing a country, through unity and hardworking.

Furthermore, human always make mistakes. In case of deleting memories, what if they delete the wrong memory. Instead of deleting the bad part, you delete the good memories or perhaps some useful information. In this case, there is no turning back. What is done is done. There is no way to retrieve the memories back.

This is the part, where(I should mention this) human mind is such a beautiful thing created by God. It is fragile and yet it is powerful. It consists of millions(or billions...i'm not sure) of cells that could be use to save your memory and whatever you learn throughout your live. Believe it or not, everything that you have learned is all there. You just need a little push to get it reactive. Here comes the part, where you need to flashback a little. The fun here is when you get together with your friends and try to reminisce the good part of your past memories. Indirectly, it will unite you with your friends with invisible thread that could never be cut apart.

So, if you could change the past, would you do it? Nah...I don't think so.
