Promotion Is Not The First Priority

While people thinks that promotion is the X-factor that determines the successful of any product. The success of giving a great exposure of any product. Anywho, I'd like to think otherwise.

Yes, sure. Promotion is how the audience or potential buyers get to know the products or services. Promotion is how people gets to know about the product. But before doing any promotion, isn't it a priority to produce a good or perhaps a great product first. Or else, provides an excellence service. If these requirements are not covered, it doesn't matter how good the promotion was, it doesn't matter how much money was spent, the promotion wasn't going to be successful if the products/services aren't any good. Excepts from the quality of such product/service, other factors must also be included such as the price, the availability, reliability, etc.

The Best Present A Mother Could Have

When we talks about any celebration, it usually involves special treats, gifts and traditions. This is also happens to Mother's Day. So, on this very particular day, people usually likes to go out with their mothers to have some kind of outing.

For some, they'd like to have lunch at some luxury restaurant and for those who likes environmental scenery, they prefers picnic at the beach or maybe at some discreet waterfall in the woods. It doesn't matter where it is, because the point here is that, they'd like to spend some quality time with their mothers.

For those who doesn't likes to go out, due to huge amount of traffic, especially during weekends, they'd like to celebrate this kind of occasion at home. They might have prepared a cake and some meals for their beloved moms. Besides that, to show their appreciations, they might have prepared a special gift as a present to their beloved mothers.

While this sort of special treatments makes people happy, and in this case, makes every mother happy. There are also some other kind of "presents" that we could give to our mothers. It's so simple and easy thing to do. And it doesn't even cost a penny to do it. All it takes is the courage to say the words.

Must Have Apps in a Smartphone

Today, when we talks about handphones, it's all about smartphones.
And nowadays, when we talks on such technology, it usually related to OS platform.
You name it, Bada, iOS, RIM, Symbian, Windows Mobile and last but not least, is the Android.
These platforms, even though they have different interfaces and features.
They are actually the same.
They are those whose upgrades a regular phone to a smartphone.
And why they are called smartphones?
Because they are so smart, they could helps us do anything.
They could help us, with just a touch of a button.
And by being smart, they are able to create cool and smart applications.
Without the availability of these great application, personally, I won't be able to recognize them,
as SMARTPHONES.
Various Mobile OS Platforms [source]

So, let's see what are some of the must-have applications in every smartphone;
1. Notes Application *
Before I used a smartphone, I used to bring a notebook when I go to work for a function. Just to write the names of guests for seating arrangement. And of course by using a pen, which sometimes I forgot to bring. But nowadays, whenever I go to a function, and there was a long list of names to jot down on a piece of paper, it won't become a problem. All I need to do, is to type those names into my notes application accordingly. By doing that, I'll be able to scroll through easily to find the names later on. Additionally, this application could also be use to make a checklist.

Pāto 34 ~ Three Months Anniversary

It's been three months, isn't it?
Since the first day we've been together.
I still remember the day I first met you.
I had my eyes on "someone" else at first.
But at the moment I saw you, I couldn't looked elsewhere.
It feels like love at first sight for me.
I hesitated at first to make you to be mine.
But after I got to know you, I made up my mine.
Without any hesitation, on 25th January 2011,
I made you mine, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

A Life as A Student is Tough

Studying. Sure its tough, isn't it?
Who could says otherwise?
And sure, it was tough for me too.
Reading books, memorizing and practicing.
And at last, there comes the examination.
The toughest moment of all. For any student.
Where we'll put everything we learned onto a sheet of paper.
Which will decide everything.
Either we'll PASS or FAIL.

But apart from learning and the process of mastering the subject.
There comes another difficulty of studying.
Difficulty of coping life while studying.
Surviving the another chapter of life being a student.
A life of being an undergraduate student.

A Life Without The Internet

A life without internet.
I can't imagine, myself, living in this century, without the internet.
The internet, the globalization of virtual world has been very dear to my heart.
It has been my source of information.
It has been my source of inspiration.
And it has been one of my best channel of socialization.

So, first, when talking about globalization.
What comes first to our mind?
As for me, I think about it as a world without borders.
There is no boundary for information, to be specific.
As such, is why I can't live without the internet.
And by being disconnected with the virtual world of internet,
made me realize how much internet was so important to me.
Thus, it's true when people says.
"You want something when you can't have it,
But when it's in front of you, you take it for granted."

So, why internet has been so meaningful to me?
1. A channel for socialization
As a teenager, whose becoming an adult, I believe a social environment is very crucial to create a mature personality. And communication through social websites such as Facebook and Twitter is a necessary. Using such channels, things that are far apart, the gaps could be reduce with just a "status" or a "tweet". By this means of actions, people could communicate and socialize without having to see each other, in-person. And sometimes, we could also express things that lies deep within us that we couldn't say to people who are close to us. Just by socializing in the virtual world of internet.
Haven't use this channel. [source]

Lesson #27 ~ Don't Tell

You can't think straight when you just woke up. [source]
Don't tell anything,

Pāto 33 ~ It's Finally Over

It's finally over.

Three weeks non-stop working period is on pause button.
And I'm not going to push the play button for a while.
Cause, a few days is only what I have.
Before I'll get busy with another difficult task.
But that's not what I'm going to talk right now.
Do I have to sacrifice myself just to get it over?

Lesson #26 ~ Always Backup

Create a backup for all important documents,
Inside your computer.
Don't just save into your pendrive.
In case anything happens to it,
And your boss suddenly wants you to do a presentation,
At least you have backup.

Lesson #24 ~ Check For Logo

Make sure there is a SIRIM logo.
Don't just plugs in the device,
without knowing that crucial info.
Otherwise, you'll get a wire tripped,
and the whole floor goes black.
And for sure,
You are the one to be blame.

syaftome ~ luckily no one was busy typing important documents

Pāto 32 ~ It's Been A Year...

Since the first day I walked through that door. My life totally changes.
I began to question myself. About the purpose of being alive.
I began to ask myself. Is it a place where I want to be?
And I began to look within myself, to figure out my final destination.

I could still remember that day.
It was raining on that morning.
I was soaked wet when I was reporting duty.
But I managed to warm myself before hand before I met our Chief Assistant Director(KPP).
And so, we talked, we chatted and we got to know each other.
At the time, I was thinking he was a serious type of guy, but later I figured, he is nothing like what I had imagined.

The True Meaning of Strength

Mahatma Gandhi, the ideological leader of India once said,
"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will."

But why he said that actually?
Aren't we strong when we could pull a loaded airplane with our bare hands?
Aren't we strong when we could jog around the city for days non-stop?
Or aren't we strong when there is nothing that could harm us physically?
The answer, is absolutely a big fat NO.
The strength actually comes from wisdom and motivation.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi [source]
And so, right now, we are not talking about the physical capability.
But instead, it's all about the human strength against all anonymity.
Against all odds with the right mind capacity.
With the shield of heart versus every negativity.

Pāto 29 ~ Decisions of Yesterday

"A life is like a domino.", anonymous.
 That is so true.
A decision just leads to another few decisions.
When it is not reviewed, it will lead to a few mistakes, and eventually a failure.
So, these decisions need to be reviewed, to make things better in the future.
Unless we do this, we will never learn.

So, what have I done, yesterday?
1. I chose to postpone my work till evening.
When there are so many thing to do, I was forced to postpone my work till the afternoon, even though I could finish them earlier, if I had planned how to do all of them.

2. I chose to let myself do everything
When there are so many thing to do, and my supervisors wasn't there. Everything is up to me. Because I can't see things undone. My heart just can't be at peace with things are left alone. With no one to look into them.

Lesson #23 ~ Where is the car?

In a big parking lot like this, it's hard to find your car when there's too many cars. [source]
 When you park the car,
Remember where you park it.
Don't get lost,
At the moment when you want to go home.
Just to find out that your car is nowhere to be found.

syaftome ~ where are you?

Pāto 28 ~ How Do I Live Without You

How do I
Get through one night without you
If I had to live without you
What kind of life would that be?
Oh I need you in my arms
Need you to hold
Your my world my heart my soul
If you ever leave
Baby you'd take away everything good in my Life.
How Do I Live, Thrisha Yearwood

Sunday Morning.
A love song played on the radio.
Mum is cooking. Stir-frying, actually.
Lempeng, some kind of roti canai.
One of my favorite food.
A mother's recipe is the best, right? [source]
While watching her back, I started thinking.
How do I live without her?
Stir-frying a lempeng isn't easy. For me.
I've been trying a couple of times before.
It need skills. Even though it seems easy.
But when I do it, it's full of holes.
So, how do I live without her?

Lesson #22 ~ Check Your Card

"Here, take my card." [source]
If you are thinking to use a card to pay the bills.
Check it first, before you give it to the cashier.
Don't mixed up!!!
Between a SHELL Bonus Link and a Debit Card.

syaftome ~ even a debit card can't be use to buy a RM59 earphone.

Don't Just Point Fingers!!!

Today, I read about a rape case.
Which is very common nowadays.
Unless we do something about it.
Unless we make some changes. In lifestyle.
It will unnecessarily become a bad culture.
A negative impact to the community.

So, let's get back to the point.
The rapist, a guy who is a "few" years older than her.
Met her couple of times, and then raped her, in a hotel.
Then, of course, she reported to the police.
Which I'm pretty sure, her family did this.
Where, at the end of the story,
the guy was caught and put into jail.
How does it feel to be handcuff? I don't want to find out. For sure. [source]

Pāto 27 ~ The New Resolutions of 2011

Evaluate the past is just another process of evaluating performance.
But right now, the future is much more important.
And in order to change the future, I must change the present.
And so, developing a vision is a must.
And in order to do that, one way is to write a journal.
Because like I said, in the previous entry, write a journal is important.
So, here it goes;
