Tour of My Existence

When we talks about any celebration, it usually involves special treats, gifts and traditions. This is also happens to Mother's Day. So, on this very particular day, people usually likes to go out with their mothers to have some kind of outing.

For some, they'd like to have lunch at some luxury restaurant and for those who likes environmental scenery, they prefers picnic at the beach or maybe at some discreet waterfall in the woods. It doesn't matter where it is, because the point here is that, they'd like to spend some quality time with their mothers.

For those who doesn't likes to go out, due to huge amount of traffic, especially during weekends, they'd like to celebrate this kind of occasion at home. They might have prepared a cake and some meals for their beloved moms. Besides that, to show their appreciations, they might have prepared a special gift as a present to their beloved mothers.

While this sort of special treatments makes people happy, and in this case, makes every mother happy. There are also some other kind of "presents" that we could give to our mothers. It's so simple and easy thing to do. And it doesn't even cost a penny to do it. All it takes is the courage to say the words.


1. I'm Sorry

All this while, I'm sure we made a lot of mistakes and wrongdoings, especially to our moms. I'm sure sometimes, we aren't able to meet her expectations. And some other times, we might have hurt her feelings without us realizing. It might've comes from our own spontaneous actions or perhaps we said something that we thought was funny but actually hurt her pride and feelings. So, the most obvious thing to say is "I'm sorry". Don't wait till Raya Celebration or any other festive seasons, it might be too late to tell her that you're sorry.

2. Thank You

A thousand "Thank You" is still not enough[source]

We owe so much to our mothers. First, they took care of us in their wombs for 9 months. They had to  take care of themselves in order to make sure that the baby will be healthy. Then, they fought all the way when they gave birth to us. They had to endure the pain of giving birth to let us live in this world. After when we were born, the difficulties were so many but she endured everything. As we were growing up, they did a lot more than what we could give to them. That's why, there is no gift that could pay for their efforts all this time and therefore to say "Thank You" is the best there is. We might want to give them gifts and presents to show how much we owe them, but to say "Thank You" is the best way to let them know. 


3. I Love You

For some people, they does everything to show how much they love their mothers. Even if it means doing daily chores. And for some, they gets so busy making money just to make their mother's happy. Just to pleased their mothers with money and luxury presents. And for some teenagers, they gets to rebellious phases just to prove a point. So, whatever actions we comes up with to show how much we love them, it's of no use if they didn't know. That's why to say "I Love You" is the best way to let them know. To let them not to worry about us. To let their mind at ease for not worrying about us.



In conclusion, there are various ways to show our appreciations towards our mothers. But the best way is to say it out loud. Just let them know that we are sorry for our behaviors; that we are so grateful to them for being there for us; and that we loves them so much.
