Tour of My Existence

A few days ago, I saw him in the news, TV3.
And today, I read about him, again, in a newspaper.
It's about this new sensation in the states.
It's none other, about Ted Williams.
But, who is Ted Williams?
So, let's watch this first.


He was a homeless man, who lives in a man-made tent.
He was arrested for a few times, and got into prison. Many times.
He was also involved in drug abuse and much more misdemeanor cases.
Despite all that, this 53 year-old man, has a talent.
A GOD given gift, of a refined radio voice.
Which, he learned and furnished a while back, when he was in school.
And so, with the act of GOD, there is this local reporter, recorded his voice and post in into Youtube.
Overnight, it became a new sensation. And everybody started to recognize him.
Which attracted around 6 million viewers by now through Youtube.
Later, he got a two year contract to become a host.

So, you see, there is so much to talk about this man.
There is so much to learn from him.
In his life, for the sake of living, he does everything.
He builds his own tent, as a shelter, to protect him from the harsh of the uncontrolled weather.
He seeks money using his voice, entertains people with his radio voice.
Even though, it's just for a dollar.

Going on with his life, he obviously made a lot of mistakes.
He definitely going through a lot of challenging moments.
And so, he took them as lessons of life, and try to change his lifestyle.
Tried to change his life. And so, he changed.
He is now clean for about 2 and half years now. Away from drugs.
Even with that, it is still not enough, so, he prays.
Without ever give up. Without ever, complaint about the life he had.
In the end, GOD granted his wishes when he met people who discovered his talent.

And one last thing, I love his attitude.
He stays positive. He stays strong.
And despite all the trouble he had, he keeps on smiling.
Doesn't care how people judges him. So, he prevails at last.
Becomes a new sensation in the states. Becomes famous.
Even though, that wasn't part of his plan.

So, you see, his story really gives me the inspiration.
If he can do it, why can't I?
If he keeps on struggling to live, why should I give up my dreams?
If he can develop optimistic values, why should I become pessimistic?
Everyone can become excellent, everyone can obtained success.
And so, everyone can become anyone or anything, unless we never; ever give up.
