Who could says otherwise?
And sure, it was tough for me too.
Reading books, memorizing and practicing.
And at last, there comes the examination.
The toughest moment of all. For any student.
Where we'll put everything we learned onto a sheet of paper.
Which will decide everything.
Either we'll PASS or FAIL.
But apart from learning and the process of mastering the subject.
There comes another difficulty of studying.
Difficulty of coping life while studying.
Surviving the another chapter of life being a student.
A life of being an undergraduate student.
A life as a student.
It's difficult and it's complicated.
At some universities, they'll provides accommodation to their students.
But for others, they'll need to look for a place by themselves.
And here, where it gets tough.
They need to look for a place near to their campus.
Second, the rent must be cheap, or at least affordable.
And last, the rent house must be en route of a public transport.
Without these three basic factors, life as a student gets tougher.
But why it's important? I'll explain later.
Next, being a student is all about being independent. And surviving.
Except for those who lives
But for those who don't, a life as a student is tough. Very tough, I might add.
Everything must be done by themselves.
And everything must be plan by themselves.
And when talks about planning, usually, it's all about money.
The one thing that controls everything.
That controls everything we do, and everything else we plan.
Thus, this is the time, where our survival instinct kicks in.
That we must survives till the end of the semester.
For those who lives on parent's support, this won't be a problem.
But for those who relies on sponsorships or education loans, things are not as easy as it seems.
For those who lives outside campus, mostly, have a lot to think about.
They have to think about how much rent they need to pay.
They have to think about how much should be spend on food.
They have to think about how much money is required for transportation.
And they'll have to think about how much money will be required for other expenses.
So, when they lives far away from campus, these expenses will be much more higher.
And for those who possesses own transportation, another factor must be included.
How much it cost for gas or tolls? In a month?
Will it suffice to cover gas expenses after everything else was deducted?
Will it be better to use public transport?
If the answer is yes, it surely will saves a lot.
In the end, a conclusion could be made.
That a life as a student is never easy.
Its tough, and difficult, but its important.
It's the first step of becoming a mature person.
The first step of being responsible and independent person.
